For rifles the 53 grain #1400 bullet is of the conventional flat base design. – In handguns chambering cartridges in 22 caliber the 53 grain #1400 MatchKing bullets often deliver superior accuracy in target competition. – While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications.
